Presence is about finding your awareness in the here and now, not managing the past or rehearsing the future, but genuinely available to your direct experience in this exact moment. It's the foundation of everything else. You cannot lead, perform, or connect as your best self from anywhere other than the present moment.
Acceptance is subtler and more radical. It's not complacency or resignation. It's the willingness, and the intention, to be with what you find when you get to the present moment, including all the thoughts, the discomfort, and the uncertainty. All without immediately trying to fix, avoid, or escape it. The energy that was locked up in that battle becomes available for something else entirely.
